Episode 0008 - No Guests, Just Us Three

 After a long break, we finally recorded a podcast. Scheduling issues as well as health issues were the main culprits. We sat down and had a chat about how we record guitars, and some discussion on live sound. Dan was on the phone, while Bill and Steve were in studio. A couple times, calls came in to Steve's phone, so you'll hear a few beeps. Pretty annoying, and we won't let that happen again. Just have to Google how to turn off call waiting for next time. 

Episode 0007 - Tony Ortiz of The Monroes / Guns of Soul

Steve sat down with Tony and he presented his unique story, and his exposure to the highs and lows of the music industry. Episode 0006 - Atom Fuel of New Defective

The whole gang sat down with Atom Fuel, the lead singer and guitarist for New Defective. We talked about how he wrote and recorded the songs for the debut album, “Dangerous Effects Of First Cause”, and his approach to making an album.

Episode 0005 - Mike Bjerke & Chris Johnson from Bjerke & the Ripsters on The Music Process

This episode, Steve made the trek up north to visit with Mike Bjerke and Chris Johnson of Bjerke & the Ripsters (bjerkeandtheripsters.com). We talked about their starts in music, their first instruments, and which rock stars flipped them the bird. Bill and Steve interviewed Brett on song ideas, the music landscape of today and how to market your band, and the value of a good producer. Episode 0002 - The Rumours on The Music Process Podcast

We sat down with all three members of The Rumours, a great band out of Waterloo, IA. They were willing to share some of their methods of songwriting, and a view into life as a rock band.  Check them out on the road, as they put on a high-energy show. This was recorded in the green room of 7th St. Entry in Minneapolis, where they were playing on a bill with Rebel Queens and Hotel Caviar.
